Byzantine Solidus Inc. Announces Intent to Acquire CredZK Inc., Bringing Privacy-Preserving Financial Credentials to Permara

CredZK's browser-verification and zkTLS technology will help Permara turn verified real-world facts into reusable credentials for payments, lending, purchase-order financing and executable agreements.

September 14, 2026 — Byzantine Solidus Inc. today announced its intent to acquire CredZK Inc., bringing CredZK’s privacy-preserving browser verification and credential technology into Permara, Byzantine Solidus’s platform for verified payments and executable financial agreements.

The acquisition addresses a simple problem: the Internet still asks people and businesses to prove the same facts again and again. Financial records, business identity, supplier identity, balances and other facts are still commonly established through PDFs, screenshots, emailed documents, portal logins and repeated manual review.

CredZK was created around a different idea: what if a person could prove the fact that matters without handing every counterparty all of the information behind it?

From Cannes to CredZK

CredZK traces its roots to Moca Network’s Identity House in Cannes in 2025, a five-day builder program immediately preceding EthCC. During the program, CredZK built a financial-verification prototype combining zkTLS-based verification with Moca Network’s AIR Kit. On Demo Day, CredZK was recognized as the second-place project, presenting verifiable financial credentials for lending.

Financial verification was only the beginning. Authenticated real-world information can become reusable, verifiable facts.

CredZK Proves the Fact. Permara Makes the Fact Useful.

Permara is built around a simple proposition:

Tell Permara who should be paid, how much, and what must happen. Permara verifies the people and the proof, protects the money, and pays the verified recipient.

CredZK technology can help establish a required fact from an authenticated digital source and represent it as a reusable credential. Permara can evaluate that verified fact against an agreement and, when required authorizations and conditions are satisfied, execute the financial action the parties approved.

Proof becomes programmable.

A borrower could prove a financial condition without repeatedly sending complete records. A business could establish verified credentials and reuse them where accepted. A supplier could prove its identity and relationship to an invoice or purchase order. A payment could be addressed to a verified recipient identity rather than relying only on payout instructions copied from an email.

Credentials can also be designed to expire, refresh, be superseded or be revoked as underlying facts change.

“The Credential Was Never the Destination”

“When we started CredZK, I thought we were solving a financial verification problem. What became obvious was that verification wasn’t the end of the transaction. It was the beginning.

Knowing something is true is valuable. Knowing what you’re authorized to do because it’s true is much more powerful.

That’s why this acquisition makes sense. CredZK can establish the proof. Permara can understand what that proof means inside an agreement and determine what is allowed to happen next.

The user shouldn’t have to know what zkTLS is. They shouldn’t have to understand a blockchain, a DID or a smart account. The best infrastructure eventually becomes invisible.

You should simply be able to tell Permara what you want to happen. We verify the people. We verify the proof. We protect the money. And when the conditions everyone agreed to are satisfied, we execute.

CredZK started by asking whether we could prove a financial fact without exposing everything behind it. Permara asks the next question: now that we know the fact is true, what can we safely make happen?

That’s why we’re putting these technologies together.”
