Why Byzantine Solidus Is Acquiring CredZK

Byzantine Solidus Inc. intends to acquire CredZK Inc. CredZK proves facts; Permara turns verified facts into executable financial actions.

Four linked marks on one engraved line: an authenticated source, a credential, an agreement condition, and a verified payment

Today we're announcing our intent to acquire CredZK Inc. The transaction matters because of what we're building next: Permara.

Permara makes agreements executable. Tell Permara who should be paid, how much, and what must happen. Permara verifies the people and proof, protects the money, and pays the verified recipient.

That hides a difficult question: How does software know a condition in an agreement is actually true?

That's where CredZK fits.

CredZK began with the idea that someone should be able to prove a financial fact from an authenticated source without unnecessarily handing over everything behind it. Its first prototype was built at Moca Network's Identity House in Cannes in 2025 using zkTLS-based verification and Moca Network's AIR Kit. CredZK was recognized as the second-place project on Demo Day.

What started as financial verification became a larger idea: real-world facts can become reusable credentials.

CredZK strengthens the proof layer. Permara can use those credentials as facts inside an agreement. When required facts, approvals and conditions are satisfied, Permara can execute what the parties authorized.

CredZK proves facts. Permara turns verified facts into action.

People shouldn't need to understand zkTLS, credentials, DIDs, smart accounts or blockchains. They should be able to say what they want to happen. The software should handle the trust underneath.

Trust endures. Value moves.

The full announcement is in the press release. CredZK tells its side in From Cannes to Permara, and Permara's release is on permara.com/press. The proposed transaction is subject to closing.
